Playtime
Playtime is a friendly playgroup for children aged 0-5 years old and their parents/carers. Playtime runs on Fridays during school term from 9:30am-11:30am (from Wk 2 till Wk 9). We’d love for you to join our friendly group and to also visit us on Sundays too!
WHAT DO WE DO?
Each week we start with free play, where we have toys, craft and other activities. We then all help pack away before having a short bible story and music time. Finally we finish with morning tea together.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Playtime is held in the hall at St Johns Park Anglican Church (73 Edensor Rd, St Johns Park). There is plenty of parking on site in our car park.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Playtime costs $20 per term for each family. The first visit is free.
Please bring morning tea for your child, a drink bottle and any other supplies your child needs. We also have tea & coffee for the parents. If you would like to celebrate your child’s birthday with us, please get in touch with our lovely team of helpers and we can arrange to have cupcakes to celebrate.
Please do not bring nuts to Playtime. This is to protect those with allergies who may have a severe medical reaction to nuts. As some children have allergies to other foods, please do not share your food with anyone else.
On your first visit you will be asked to complete a registration form so that we have medical information and emergency contact details for the safety of all who come along.
OTHER INFORMATION
Please feel free to take photos of your own children, but before taking photos of other children please ask their parent or guardian first.
OUR PLAYTIME TEAM
Playtime is run by volunteers from St Johns Park Anglican Church, who have all completed a Safe Ministry Training and have had a Working With Children Check.
